Juan Bonavera has a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Escuela de Música Contemporánea (EMC), a Berklee Global Partner College, and an Associate’s degree in Performing Arts from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
As a multi-instrumentalist, Juan teaches guitar, piano, ukulele, and voice. He has been teaching for the past several years, primarily offering private lessons. Juan personalizes his teaching approach to suit each student, monitors their progress, and establishes short and long-term goals. He is adept at teaching students of all ages, including children and those with special needs. Juan is patient, empathetic, and enjoys nurturing a love for music in his students.
Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Juan has showcased his musical talents with his band on various stages, TV shows, and radio channels. He has also performed in musical productions such as Frozen the Musical Latin America Tour and Hairspray. Furthermore, he has lent his voice to Netflix movies like The Hand of God, an Oscar-nominated film. Juan believes in the transformative power of music and finds great fulfillment in guiding students on their musical journeys, aiming to instill a lifelong appreciation for music’s cultural and emotional significance.
