Monique is a devoted and skilled music teacher with more than 15 years of teaching experience. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Opera Studies from the University of British Columbia and has been a professional vocalist and pianist ever since. Throughout her teaching career, she has seen some of her students, like members of the Linda Lindas and Tovi, pursue successful music careers. Monique frequently performs on the piano at Largo LA and other comedy venues in the area, even recently opening for a surprise Beck performance.

Her passion lies in instilling a love for music in her students, leading with compassion to create a nurturing and positive learning atmosphere. Monique values exploring a variety of musical genres and encourages her students to engage with music they are passionate about. With her tailored approach, she ensures each student receives the necessary guidance and motivation to reach their full potential. Whether teaching piano, voice, or music theory, Monique is dedicated to aiding her students in achieving their musical aspirations and cultivating an enduring love for music.
