Instruments & Instructors
At Foothills Music Academy, we have a variety of instruments and instructors for you to choose from. Our instructors have several years of experience playing professionally, in orchestras and bands alike. All of our teachers are specialized in the instruments they teach and several of them teach multiple instruments. Please feel free to select an instructor below to view their full profile. Several of our instructors are available to teach at both locations. Please call us to discuss which instrument and instructor would be the best fit for you.
Stringed Instruments
Guitar & Ukulele
Anyone can play guitar, but not everyone learns the right way. From finger picking folk music to solo jamming in a rock performance, we help our students master the techniques of the most sought after instrument on the planet.
Bass-Upright & Electric
Whether you play rock Bass or an upright Bass, you will be the groove-setter, the rhythm master. Bass is necessary to keep the beat and tracks synchronously with percussion.
Violin & Viola
These beautiful stringed instruments take years to perfect, but once learned are the true gems of any bluegrass, classical, or rock ensemble. They also make great solo performances.
